Sylvanian Families Pancake Recipe

Sylvanian Families Pancake Recipe

Sylvanian Families pancake recipe

Ingredients:

For 4 pancakes:

1 egg

30ml yoghurt

30ml milk

70g plain flour

1 teaspoon baking powder

1 tablespoon sugar

Chocolate, pink and white chocolate pens (1 each)

Strawberries, raspberries and blueberries

Directions:

1. Cut a 3cm strip off a 0.3mm aluminium sheet.

2. Use a rolling pin to bend the strip around the template. Be careful not to cut yourself—you might want to wear work gloves.

3. Use a ruler for the sharp bends.

4. Join the ends together with heatproof glue. Use something like a clip to hold it together until the glue dries.

5. Grease the inside of the cutter with butter and put a piece of baking paper over the join.

6. Mix the eggs, yoghurt, milk, sugar, flour and baking powder together (in that order) to make the pancake batter.

Put a frying pan on the stove, wait for it to warm up, and then put it on a wet towel to remove excess heat. Put the cutter in the frying pan, add some batter (no more than half) and then put the lid on and cook on a low heat. When bubbles appear, turn it over, fry it for about 30 seconds longer, and remove the cutter. Be careful not to burn yourself!

7. Melt the chocolate pens in hot water. Place some cellophane over the picture and trace the eyes, nose and mouth. Put them in the fridge to cool.

8. Draw the ears on the pancake with the chocolate pen.

9. Use the pink pen to draw the insides of the ears and put the eyes, nose and mouth on the face.
